Daisy's Big Day Out at The Vets

Daisy went to the vets for the first time today, to have her second Tricat jab.

The Mobile Cat Transportation Device was deployed for the first time.

She meowed a fair bit on the way there, but was very brave in the vets; and didn't meow on the way back.

Rosie's Vet Visit

Rosie had a big morning today, having to go to the vet for a check up so that her flea treatment could be prescribed again.

Normally we carry her by hand in her cat carrier. However, today we attached the carrier to a bicycle and rolled it to the vet.

The result was a less stressed Rosie (as the carrier was higher up than when being carried by hand, and the journey less bumpy) and less stressed human staff!

Rosie Is Better

I am pleased to say that, some days after a visit to the vet (wherein laxatives and two mini enemas were administered) Rosie is better.

Her appetite has returned, she is asking for food, her normal personality is back and she is grooming herself properly again.

Most importantly, she has had a Krakatoa East of Java moment in the litter tray!

Therefore no return visit to the vet is required.
