As per the Guardian:

"Adult cats do not tend to use voice as their primary means of communication with one other, many may rely on other cues such as scent instead. 

“The ‘meow’ that we used in this study is a voice signal that is only emitted to humans, except for kittens,” said Takagi."

Daisy's Eggy Paw

 

Well this was unexpected. 

 

I sat down on the sofa yesterday to have a bacon and egg sandwich, Daisy was also on the sofa. 

 

For reasons that are unclear, she decided to run across the sofa to look at something on the wall. 

 

Unfortunately, her chosen route was across my lap and my sandwich. 

 

The result being a yolk soaked back paw, and eggy pawprints on the sofa.

 

The sandwich was still nice though!

Sharing The Sofa With Daisy at Lunchtime

 

Daisy graciously allowed me to share the sofa with her yesterday, whilst I had my lunch.

I am glad that my presence and my food did not disturb her too much!
