Vets are warning that there is a national shortage of cat and dog vaccines.
The shortage has been brought about by covid disrupting supply chains, and a global increase in the ownership of cats and dogs.
It is unlikely that the situation will improve before sometime in 2022, as such vets are rationing vaccines and limiting registrations of new pets.
Could this be due to a shortage of the 'test' tubes that vaccines are supplied in, rather than lack of the vaccine itself?
